Part-fibre broadband
Part-fibre or ‘fibre’ broadband is the most common type of internet connection used by smaller businesses due to it being inexpensive and widely available. It uses fibre optic cable from the internet exchange to the street cabinet and then copper cable to your premises, which can be unreliable and limits the speeds of your internet connection.
Leased Lines
Leased line services provide a dedicated, resilient full-fibre connection to your business capable of delivering Gigabit speeds and beyond. Traditionally, this technology has been used by medium to large businesses. However, increasingly, smaller businesses are choosing leased line services as they are becoming more cost-effective and our reliance on digital tools continues to grow.
Gig Flex
When you take a Gig Flex service over CityFibre’s network, you will get a full-fibre connection directly to your business capable of speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second. These services can be deployed very quickly and, as a shared network, they can be delivered at a very low cost.
FTTP
Fibre-to-the-premises (or ‘FTTP’) is the newest type of internet connectivity available to businesses and offers a full-fibre connection directly to your business premises. Although not widely available yet, businesses who can access it benefit from full-fibre connectivity at significantly lower costs than other full-fibre options.
