The Tale of 12 Halves – Triangle’s fundraising for local charity Children’s Hospice South West

Just 5 miles from the Triangle offices, the amazing team at CHSW support children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The hospice team provide the whole family with a positive environment and the highest level of care as they go through the most unimaginable times. It is an essential service for them all. Our team challenged themselves to complete a number of fundraising activities this year, including playing live music to a number of venues to promote and raise further money for the main event, The Tale of Twelve Halves…Team members Jamie Butt and Bob Irwin, embarked upon the challenge of running 12 half marathons in 12 months, they have now completed all 12.These included events from London to Plymouth and across to Swansea. One highlight being, the Exeter half-marathon, as part of Bob’s birthday celebrations. (balloon photo). The last leg of the campaign, saw Jamie and Bob completing the 13.1 miles around Clevedon, celebrating with CHSW at the Clevedon Sailing Club, raising over £3000 so far.If you would like to support this great cause, you can do so by making a small donation to Children’s Hospice South West, following the link below.
